About the Speaker
Dabaiba de Nilipour is an architect by profession and mother of two, the youngest child with autism. She is president of Fundacion Soy Capaz (meaning “I am able”) dedicated to promoting the independence of young people with autism, guiding and supporting families, and raising awareness of society for their social integration. Dabaiba is the winner of Heroes for Panama 2012, AVON Woman 2014, and Ruby Award 2016 of the Soroptimist Club. In 2012 she won the Angel Riviere award along with the Autism Federation Castilla y Leon with the project “Autism on the other side of the sea.”
